Twenty-five Al-Shabaab militants were killed in operations by the Somali army in the Lower Shabelle region, Somali National News Agency (SONNA) reported.SONNA added that three senior commanders were among those killed and that the forces also seized a ‘significant cache of weapons, including six PKM machine guns, two RPG launchers, and 17 AK-47 rifles’.The operation disrupted a planned attack by the terrorist group.
