Ajman Police reported that the fire that overtook a medium-rise residential structure there on Friday has been put out.
This afternoon, a fire broke out in a 15-story residential structure in the Al-Naeimya neighborhood on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street. Residents have been evacuated by the responsible authorities, and no injuries have yet been recorded.
Director General of Police Operations Major Abdullah Saif Al-Matroushi reported that the event resulted in the burning of 16 apartments and the damage of 13 vehicles.
In accordance with protocol, the police cooled the structure as they looked into the fire’s origin.

The Director General of Police Operations asked building owners and inhabitants to abide by safety regulations in residential buildings and to exercise caution around anything that can start a fire, especially in these structures.
