The popular Korean actress Park Soo Ryun, who starred in the TV show SnowDrop, passed away on June 11 after falling down some stairs. She was 29, according to Korean media.
When visiting Jeju Island, Park Soo Ryun reportedly tumbled down the stairs, according to the South Korean tabloid Osen. When the actress arrived at the hospital, the medical staff pronounced her brain dead.
Her organs have been given by Park Soo Ryun’s family. The actress’s mother claimed that although the actress’s heart was still beating, her brain was not. “There must be someone who needs organs really badly. The mother was quoted by Soompi as stating, “As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the knowledge that her heart has gone to someone and is beating].”
The report also stated that Park Soo Ryun’s funeral services were held on June 13.
2018 saw Park Soo Ryun make her acting debut in the musical Tenore. In the following years, she participated in a number of musicals, including The Cellar, Finding Mr. Destiny, Siddhartha, The Days We Loved, and Somehow Theater Festival.
