44 dead in traffic accidents in Southeastern Afghanistan

Forty four people were killed and more than 70 others were injured in two accidents that occurred in southeastern Afghanistan.The head of the Afghan Information and Culture department Hamidullah Nisar said that two traffic accidents occurred late at night in the southeastern part of the country, resulting in at least 44 fatalities and 76 injuries.He added that the accidents took place in Ghazni province, southeastern Afghanistan, noting that one of the accidents involved a fuel tanker, while the other was related to a cargo truck.
