US President-elect promises additional tariffs on China, Mexico and Canada

President-elect Donald Trump promised that he will impose an additional 10% tariff on goods coming from China and a 25% tariff on all products entering the country from Mexico and Canada.’On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States,’ Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.He also said that the US will be imposing an additional 10% tariff on China, on top of any additional tariffs, on all its numerous products coming to the United States.Trump will be inaugurated as President of the United States on January 20, 2025.
