Tunisia and the NATO discussed Tuesday ways to boost bilateral cooperation.Defense Minister Khaled Shili and NATO's Special Representative for the Southern Neighborhood and Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Javier Colomina explored ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly within the framework of the 1994-launched Mediterranean Dialogue.Shili stressed the importance of expanding the scope of this cooperation and finding appropriate means and mechanisms to develop it, as well as following up on the implementation of concluded agreements and scheduled bilateral commitments, particularly in the areas of training and exchange of expertise.For his part, Colomina affirmed NATO's readiness to continue working to advance military cooperation with Tunisia to the level of a model strategic partnership capable of meeting current challenges.
