New White House Administration officially renames Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America

The US Department of the Interior has officially renamed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and Denali in Alaska to Mount McKinley.In a statement, the department stated that following the president's directive, Gulf of Mexico will now be known as Gulf of America, and the highest peak in North America will once again be called Mount McKinley. These changes reaffirm nation's commitment to preserving its rich heritage and ensuring future generations honor the legacy of its heroes and historical landmarks.The peak, previously known as Mount McKinley in honor of former President William McKinley, was renamed Denali in 1975 at the request of Alaska.President Donald Trump ordered the name changes as part of a series of executive actions taken just hours after assuming office on Monday, delivering on a campaign promise.
