US President Donald Trump announced plans to resume communication with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, following the ‘working relationship’ they established during his first term.In an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that he will reach out to North Korean leader again.When asked about his relationship with Kim, Trump confirmed that they get along very well, and that he will communicate with Kim Jong Un, adding that he is a very smart man.During his first term, Trump met with Kim three times, but Washington failed to make significant progress on North Korea's nuclear disarmament.Since the collapse of their second summit in Hanoi in 2019, North Korea has abandoned diplomacy and accelerated its weapons development, while rejecting US offers for talks.
