German Chancellor Friedrich Merz discussed Friday with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is currently visiting Berlin, possibilities for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on the Russia-Ukraine crisis and agreed to maintain strategic communication to promote a peaceful solution.
The Chinese Foreign Minister expressed his country's willingness to maintain close high-level exchanges and fully utilize various dialogue mechanisms to promote the sustainable, sound, and stable development of Sino-German relations.
