Iran’s key nuclear sites “completely and totally obliterated” – US President

US President Donald Trump said that the US military carried out ‘massive precision strikes’ on the three key nuclear facilities in Iran-Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan.Trump affirmed that the strikes ‘were a spectacular military success,’ adding ‘Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.’Iran ‘must now make peace,’ he said. ‘If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,’ he added. He said that the objective of the military operation was ‘a stop to the nuclear threat’ posed by Iran, calling the three targets ‘the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal.”There's no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close,’ Trump said.He pointed out that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will have a press conference later today at the Pentagon.’Any retaliation by Iran against the United States of America will be met with force far greater than what was witnessed tonight,’ Trump said on his Truth Social platform.
