Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met today in Moscow to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine and developments following the Istanbul negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.During their meeting, the two sides also addressed various bilateral issues in the fields of economy and energy.Istanbul hosted peace talks between Russia and Ukraine on May 15, which concluded with an agreement to exchange 2,000 prisoners between the two countries.
