Syria, South Korea sign agreement to exchange diplomatic missions

Syria and South Korea signed Thursday an agreement to exchange diplomatic missions and establish embassies in Damascus and Seoul.The agreement was reached following a meeting between Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani and his South Korean counterpart Cho Tae-yul, who led a high-level delegation to Damascus.Both sides affirmed their commitment to building relations based on the principles of peaceful coexistence, sovereign equality among nations, mutual respect for territorial integrity, and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.Earlier in the day, Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa received the South Korean minister and his accompanying delegation
