US President Donald Trump threatened today to impose additional tariffs of up to 50 percent on China ‘if it does not roll back its retaliatory tariffs.’In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote that China issued Retaliatory Tariffs of 34 percent,’ adding, ‘If China does not withdraw its 34 percent increase above their already long term trading abuses by tomorrow, April 8th, 2025, the United States will impose ADDITIONAL Tariffs on China of 50 percent.”Additionally, all talks with China concerning their requested meetings with us will be terminated!
