Pakistani security forces free hostages, kill 27 militants in Balochistan

Pakistani Security Forces killed 27 militants and wounded several others, among those who attacked the Jaffar Express train and held passengers hostage, in the Dehdar area of the Bolan Pass in Balochistan, western Pakistan, on Wednesday.Radio Pakistan, citing security sources, reported that the militants split into small groups because of the security operation.Security forces rescued 155 hostage passengers held by the militants, while 37 injured were transported for medical treatment.According to security sources, security forces are proceeding with utmost caution due to the presence of suicide bombers among the hostages. The militants have placed suicide bombers next to some of the innocent hostages, using them as human shields.
