US pauses military aid to Ukraine

The White House announced that the United States will halt its military aid to Ukraine and will review it to ensure it contributes to resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.’The president has been clear that he is focused on peace. We need our partners to be committed to that goal as well. We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that it is contributing to a solution,’ a White House official said.US and Ukrainian Presidents have a verbal confrontation in the Oval Office of the White House on Friday over the issue of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war.The United States has been Ukraine's largest financial, military, and political supporter since Russia launched its military operation on Feb. 24, 2022.
