Google announced a new update that makes it easier to remove or update search results that contain personal information, such as addresses and phone numbers, by improving the ‘Results about you’ tool.Users can now register their data to be continuously scanned, and when any sensitive information is detected, they receive a notification allowing them to easily request its removal, adding that it is now possible to request deletion directly from the Search results page by the ‘remove this result’ option.The new update includes three request options when submitting a removal request, including personal information and legal requests for removals, requests to refresh outdated Search results, giving users more control over their privacy through the world's most popular search engine.
