7 militants killed in 2 security operations in Northern Pakistan

The Pakistani army announced the killing of seven militants in two separate security operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the north of the country.The army said in a press statement that security forces carried out an operation based on intelligence information about the presence of militants in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the implementation of the operation, the security forces clashed with the militants, which resulted in the killing of four militants.The army added that another confrontation between security forces and militants took place in the Madi area of the same province, in which at least three militants were eliminated.During the operation, security forces were able to confiscate weapons and ammunition from the militants, and noted that they were involved in many terrorist activities in the region.Last Friday, security forces were able to kill at least six militants in an operation in the Karak region in northern Pakistan.Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has witnessed several security operations recently to track down militants who targeted civilians and regular forces, resulting in dozens of deaths.
