Iraqi PM, Iranian Vice President discuss joint coordination to maintain security, stability

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani discussed Thursday with visiting Iranian Vice President for Strategic Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif, regional developments and the need for joint coordination to maintain international security and stability.Al Sudani's media office said in a statement that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance partnership in various fields, in addition to the latest developments at the regional level and the importance of coordinating positions and steps to support international security and stability.Earlier Thursday, the Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met with the Iranian Vice President for Strategic Affairs.
