UN rrejects forcible displacement of Gaza residents

The United Nations confirmed its firm opposition to the forcible displacement of Gaza's residents. The Spokesperson of the UN Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric emphasized that the United Nations would naturally oppose any plan that could lead to the forcible displacement of people or any form of ethnic cleansing. The Arab League had previously emphasized that attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land, through displacement, annexation, or settlement expansion, had previously proven to have failed, and were rejected and in violation of international law, as the forced displacement and deportation of people from their land could only be called ethnic cleansing.
