US President Donald Trump announced an investment of USD 500 billion to create artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure within the Stargate project.The Stargate project includes the following companies: OpenAI – SoftBank – Oracle. It will provide 100,000 new job opportunities according to Trump, who spoke at the White House press conference.During the same press conference, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son said the company will invest USD 100 billion immediately into AI.Over the past year, big tech companies have raced to build the data centers needed to power generative AI applications, such as OpenAIs ChatGPT and Googles Gemini.
