French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said that some of the sanctions imposed by the European Union (EU) on Syria could be lifted swiftly.According to the Agence France-Presse, Barrot made this statement Wednesday, in which he said that the Union's sanctions obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid and hindering Syria's recovery could be lifted rapidly.
